MY BACKGROUND
After years of singing in a choir and performing in musical theatre productions, I discovered my passion for teaching while coaching a small amateur musical theatre show. I like working with people 1-on-1, and love the moments a student manages a difficult technique for the first time.

I am currently enrolled in a 3-year-program to become an authorized "Complete Vocal Technique" (CVT) singing teacher. CVT is based on scientific research into the voice, and has the philosophy that all musical styles can be performed healthily if you use the proper technique. Would you like more information on CVT? MY PHILOSOPHY
As a singing teacher, my goal is to help my students sing the things they want to sing, focussing on healthy singing in a way that does not damage the voice. Please feel free to suggest your own preferences in songs or musical styles you wish to sing, and I'll gladly help you make the very best of it!

I tailor my lessons to the learning goals of my students. For example, lessons can focus on exercises to improve singing technique, but also on coaching the performance of specific songs.
